Having had the earlier half the week off feels very much like a half day so far, still plenty of hours to put in over the coming few days though

Monster of a move on Oscar Rose just for lining up in front in the 1405, 3.8 when RUK switched to Wetherby > 2.77 SP :D

All runners it looked took the wrong course in the 1425 at Ascot when by passing the fence they went onto the hurdle course rather than around the fence and back on the chase course.

Will it be voided as there would technically be no finishers?

Hope not as had a good green on it.

WHAT a recovery by Bryony Frost in the 1440, if she wins this it will be one of the rides of the season, layers at 23.0 must be nervous.

Having done the Aussie racing overnight, the UK racing feels really poor.

Result stood despite the error, one jockey clearly knew he was going the wrong way and was trying to get back on course but was boxed in by the other runners, it would have been interesting if he had got out and gone the correct way as surely they would have had to DQ the runners that went the wrong way. Overall common sense prevailed but they should have all been DQ'd and banned.

That's a shame, as I said earlier on the thread, I am really enjoying it, one of my best Saturdays for a good while. Though going off past posts we seem to enjoy the opposite spectrum of races so not surprised we are having very different days.

Already into the final hour of the afternoon racing

You're committed PDC, even Derek needed a rest before the BC ;)

Derek is just a slacker ;)

I skipped last nights evening racing and BC to get to bed early and missed the first bit of the Oz racing due to the big gaps between races, so had a full nights sleep before doing the Oz racing and then topped up with another 4 hours this morning after the Oz session so fully refreshed for the day.

Given the number of shopping bags that the better half has just come in with I think I should have traded last nights BC as well
