I usually take to twitter to have a moan and the scheduling manager for the BHB actually got in touch with me a few months back.

You didn't on that one as I was expecting to see you tweet about it but you didn't, I got a bit of a slating on the forum for complaining about it.

Out of interest with all the stats you have and data would you be able to in the quieter months be able do a post or even a video on which courses are the worse offenders for getting races off late and the impact this can/has on turnover on the next race etc. Also the impact of these shorter gaps and ways that the BHA could improve things.

Maybe the BHA could watch your video on it then ;)

I can't remember the comment but can guess who it might have been :)

Whether your a trader, punter or just a spectator who loves racing surely you want to see more from a race at a big meeting rather than have some low-grade race shoved in front of it distracting attention away from it then cutting to a big race as the starter is about to raise his flag

I have analysed with courses are the latest off, I've got the data somewhere.

I've also analysed the net effect on turnover and it is significant, but of course, I can only measure on exchanges. Not the market as a whole.

Don't get me started on them cutting to the starter holding the flag rather than showing the horses lining up

It would be great to see a video on it or even just a league table, I suspect Newmarket are safe for Champions League football next year ;)

I thought it would be significant but would be great to see some detail on it. Appreciate it is exchanges only but would give a steer as to the wider market as well.

The fact Betfair are so quick to pay out on races reinforce how important it is to have the previous race over with plenty of time left for people to get on the next race.

I'll make a note and put it on the roster.

Feel like I'm just waiting for the Betfair chase today.

I am enjoying it this afternoon now I have gotten going after the early start, perhaps not as much as PeterLe is though with those big priced winners he posted earlier on the thread.

It was painful listening to Barry Orr from Betfair talking just now on RUK about the 'Betfair Exchange race' just trotting out the race title then focusing on the number of places they are paying on the sportbook

We all know who it might have been; amazes me why people who don't trade are so active on here and then look to have arguments

It's interesting to see what we feel are the biggest culprits actually are the biggest culprits.
