Messy Monday ahead. Kempton in front of the Curragh is not great. Windsor already late and clashing. The lawn looks like it could do with a mow.

Appalling weather here but it will be a break from the racing for me today

I bought a new mower the other day (rock'n'roll lifestyle eh?) but tbh I think it would have been a better idea to by a sheep! If yours is like mine then it's 12" high in places after the recent sun & rain.

Never had a lawn before and mine grew to 12 inches plus while I was still living in the old flat and didn't have time for it, now I'm held up by the weather. And I never knew using a strimmer was so messy!

Strim edges then mow.......oh and before you start, remove pebbles kicked into the grass by post-persons, leafleters, (and the last couple of weeks, political canvassers). Anyway... sorry, off topic. :-)

Just let the cat out for the first time since moving in, the big day marred by the weather. After a quick sniff around the garden she started eating some grass ‒ problem solved. :D

Lowest stall number wins the opener on the course and distance with the biggest draw bias

Let's see if we see some backing on the next.

Not the lowest stall this time but looked promising for #3 again for a while

Competitive handicaps are where the draw is most crucial at Chester.

Also shorter distances, that last was 1m3f so one of the lowest biases
