Sounds like youre pretty in depth with it there H, and I recognise those things your saying. Would be interesting to see what your research says. Maybe I could put the results on my blog to warn others? nothing worse than getting shafted even though you didnt make a bad decision! ... that said its important to know the difference between this and being paranoid

All Pricewise horses have all been aggressively backed today. Which isn't the norm once live shows kick in.

HG, I've carefully monitored every race for many years at many levels so before you spend too much time and money looking for something. I may be able to answer any questions you have if you want to get in touch.

Today felt pretty fair I thought.

Chuck - sure, I'll contact you on your blog

Peter - already in motion and paid the guy unfortunately! Good to have your own unique data source though also I think, should have done it years ago

Peterle - sorry about the loss, 'should reduce the PC' - thats a good attitude to have, I've lost count of the times I've tried to force myself to think like that

Those bets were part of the Scoop 6 bonus race and were left there to be matched. I've chatted with the guy who put them up a few times in the past, he plays the percentages and knows what he's doing as they only had 3 runners for the 5.5M

Funnily enough I'm working with a local computer whizz to record and isolate all sorts of data from the UK races so I can analyse forensically all sorts that goes on. I'll report back in a few months when I've got a ton of data. It's amazing what you can actually capture once you actually know what you're doing technically

I would suggest that you also look at Ausy racing also as its easier to see what is going on in my opinion. The same tricks are happening but its a lot more obvious to see as the numbers can get lost in the bigger amounts on the UK racing. I would imagine you will see how certain numbers arrive at the book and are suddenly matched out for exactly the same amounts for random silly amounts very quickly. Its also good to see certain numbers arriving to help at times. I've had a few helping hands from the devil 666 and others in the past but he doesn't seem to be helping out these days!

Happy mining!

What is the delay?
Sadly I only have betfair video and they will not let you see the footage until 1-2 mins before so no coverage as of yet

Markets have felt decidedly 'set' to be 'anti-trader' most of today.

What I'd like to know is if all this batting prices around, pushing against trader's orders, hogging all the prices across the book and stopping us closing our orders is a neccessary self defence mechanism from the individual making the markets, or if it's just a systematic targeting of what are likely to be trader's orders.
