There has been some evidence of torture or bodies with their wrists bound, but there were probably a lot killed in the shelling. Investigations have only begun. I don't envy the people tasked with digging up the bodies and investigating each death.
I wonder about us as a species. Why have we not concluded that combining our effort and intelligence is vastly more positive and productive than, for example, Russian action vs Ukraine, Saudi vs Yemen, Islamic fundamentalism vs just about everybofy that disagrees with them.
Rats! Just depressed myself.
Power.
Power to do what? Mess everything up? It's feeble isn't it?
Much as I feel democracy is currently under threat, it's still the best barrier to looneys like Trump and Putin.

Democracy generally stops looneys from getting into office, but in Trump's case, it was the voters that were the looneys. :)

An interesting evaluation by the author of ‘Command and Control’

Several scenarios for how Russia might soon use a nuclear weapon seem possible: (1) a detonation over the Black Sea, causing no casualties but demonstrating a resolve to cross the nuclear threshold and signaling that worse may come, (2) a decapitation strike against the Ukrainian leadership, attempting to kill President Volodymyr Zelensky and his advisers in their underground bunkers, (3) a nuclear assault on a Ukrainian military target, perhaps an air base or a supply depot, that is not intended to harm civilians, and (4) the destruction of a Ukrainian city, causing mass civilian casualties and creating terror to precipitate a swift surrender—the same aims that motivated the nuclear attacks on Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

He's obviously a complete headcase that nobody will take seriously.

He sounds like another headcase. A nuclear assault on a supply depot that's not intended to harm civilians.

They can't even drop a hand grenade without killing civilians!

Indeed, as was Trump. I think Trump attempted to skew democracy to enable him to continue far more than BJ did. Isn't that a sad endorsement of a UK PM? Not as bad as Trump.

Isn't it a positive for BJ to say he wasn't as bad as Trump?

More than 10,000 Russian soldiers surrendered en masse in Ukrainian blitzkrieg operation!

They ran out of ammunition, food and medical supplies.

Russia is getting mortar rounds from North Korea. They really are a laughing stock.

I bet none of there Nuclear arsenal has been properly maintained. Probably all duds by now as most were built over 30 years ago.

Putin will probably push a button and there just be a big puff of smoke covering Russia.

This could be interpreted as a positive or negative.
Turkey's Erdogan: Russia's Putin willing to end war
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-62965993

Does he mean overwhelming force or does he mean a negotiated settlement?
Can anyone see Putin handing back the occupied territory and Crimea?
Can anyone see Zelensky settling for anything less than that?
