My understanding is that they haven't been counted yet, so its not like Biden is going to have votes taken off his total
I've seen that ruling but the way I read his post was that it was a new court ruling.Jukebox wrote: ↑Thu Nov 12, 2020 8:24 pmEven the slightest positive news for Republicans is buried these days - there can't be many who haven't noticed that. But it was ruled in Pennsylvania that those ballots were to be kept seperately to allow for their exclusion if subsequently ruled illegal:

I understand that there may more than 300k of them.
When you think about it though, the psst doesn't make sense anyway, how can you not count segregated votes that weren't segregated. Pennsylvania tabulated the lot so I'm going with this one is defo fake news.
They've definitely been counted and held seperately as per ruling so they could be deducted/discounted if a subsequent ruling deemed it should be required - I can't find anything that says if such a subsequent ruling has been made - not even Trump has tweeted that and you'd think he would.jamesg46 wrote: ↑Thu Nov 12, 2020 8:31 pmI've seen that ruling but the way I read his post was that it was a new court ruling.Jukebox wrote: ↑Thu Nov 12, 2020 8:24 pmEven the slightest positive news for Republicans is buried these days - there can't be many who haven't noticed that. I would of thought so, it would be huge for him.Jukebox wrote: ↑Thu Nov 12, 2020 8:39 pmThey've definitely been counted and held seperately as per ruling so they could be deducted/discounted if a subsequent ruling deemed it should be required - I can't find anything that says if such a subsequent ruling has been made - not even Trump has tweeted that and you'd think he would.jamesg46 wrote: ↑Thu Nov 12, 2020 8:31 pmI've seen that ruling but the way I read his post was that it was a new court ruling.Jukebox wrote: ↑Thu Nov 12, 2020 8:24 pm

This is the issue, I thought they were mixed in & im certain I've heard Rudy say that too. Tbf though, I've been drinking a bottle of something that's been at the back of the cupboard for a very long time this week so Its possible I've been hearing things.

The court had previously ordered that all ballots where voters provided proof of identification between Nov. 10 and 12 should be segregated until a ruling was issued determining what should be done with them.
On Thursday, Leavitt ruled that those ballots shall not be counted.
Thats from the article on Fox News so it implies that they haven't been counted. It wouldn't make much sense to count them then segregate them?

Yes I remember that too that they just mixed them in so if they went back no one would know which were late ballots, defying the SC judgement.jamesg46 wrote: ↑Thu Nov 12, 2020 8:47 pmI would of thought so, it would be huge for him.Jukebox wrote: ↑Thu Nov 12, 2020 8:39 pmThey've definitely been counted and held seperately as per ruling so they could be deducted/discounted if a subsequent ruling deemed it should be required - I can't find anything that says if such a subsequent ruling has been made - not even Trump has tweeted that and you'd think he would.jamesg46 wrote: ↑Thu Nov 12, 2020 8:31 pm

Now you are confusing different segregation orders. There is a segregation order for mailed in ballots received after the 6th but mailed marked on or before election day and the segregation order for ballots that required proof of id - but id provided between 10th and today. There are probably others.Trader Pat wrote: ↑Thu Nov 12, 2020 8:57 pmThe court had previously ordered that all ballots where voters provided proof of identification between Nov. 10 and 12 should be segregated until a ruling was issued determining what should be done with them.

I'm glad I'm not at the point where I'm hearing things. If that is true and it was done intentionally to for Bidens favour then defying that court order could be what delays Pennsylvania from signing off to meet the Elecroral deadline. I've started noticing more and more Americans discussing a contingent election on their podcasts. Its scary to think what the mood will be like in America this time next month. Timcast did a decent podcast.Naffman wrote: ↑Thu Nov 12, 2020 9:11 pmYes I remember that too that they just mixed them in so if they went back no one would know which were late ballots, defying the SC judgement.jamesg46 wrote: ↑Thu Nov 12, 2020 8:47 pmI would of thought so, it would be huge for him.Jukebox wrote: ↑Thu Nov 12, 2020 8:39 pm

This just gets more and more complicated, I need a holiday!

I wonder how many insignificant legal battles Hillary would have won 4 years ago if she sued every state over the slightest abnormality he could find!abgespaced wrote: ↑Thu Nov 12, 2020 9:34 pmTrump WINS Legal Battle In PA

Thats a good point he makes. You can say what you want about Trumps legal tricks but they're legal. The left have resorted to lying, manipulation & harassment. Same old playbook then for Democrats.abgespaced wrote: ↑Thu Nov 12, 2020 9:34 pmTrump WINS Legal Battle In PA

Publishing the phone numbers and emails of lawyers working on these cases is awful, if no laws have been broken or its all just meaningless suits then why the dirty games?
Maybe thats just politics and im seeing things through Rose tinted glasses but that doesn't make sense to me because I'm neither American, Republican or Democrat.
I dont know my next move in the market either, Bidens price seems rock steady atm, i think its come to its resting place and will need certification of a swing state or some really big legal win for Trump to move it now.
No wonder we've heard so little about Trump's legal actions.
Of the more than dozen election lawsuits that Republican entities have filed in swing states as of Monday, about a half dozen cases have either been denied, dismissed, settled or withdrawn. In at least two cases, that was due to court findings that the Republicans had failed to provide a factual basis or any evidence for their claims, according to a summary of legal proceedings compiled by NBC News.
