He must have been in his mid 80s. He seemed relaxed, but I was terrified for him and hurried away, hoping not to hear a thud.
That could so easily have been "Man with dementia dies after falling off roof" or "unsafe worker falls off roof and is saved by soft landing on pushchair". Either way I think I'd have phoned the police to be on the safe side rather than turning a blind eye.
By the time the police get there the guy would have died.....of old age.

It wasn't quite a blind eye, I'm not heartless! And I did think about that, I just didn't want to intrude. I'm very particular about my independence, (because it has been impeded my whole life), and that's always my first thought. Having given my defence, I'll begrudgingly acknowledge that's you're right.

Anyway, I've knackered this thread enough - roofs are not horses! (I've seen goats on roofs in Norway, but no horses).

Sorry everyone.

I'm equally guilty of taking the thread off-topic, so back on topic, some move in the first at Chelmsford.

Started badly and haven't found many opportunities to recover.

Very weak markets today, but this evening doesn't look great either.

Heavily layed pre-off and made for a great trade, but won anyhow. Somebody just got shafted there.

Y, this feels quite nice so far. The evening card at the Curragh looks interesting.
