Betdaq volume monitoring thread
It's tricky if you only have one screen. Though I've got two monitors side by side, betangel betfair on the one, betdaq angel on the other, so I don't have too many problems.
As you say the prices more or less mirror each other so if you see something happen on one screen and need to act, you know the same thing is going to happen on the other. You soon get used to it.
The big meetings are pretty consistent on both exchanges, though on the day to day stuff I get loads of races that work well on betdaq but not on betfair, and vice versa, just gives you a better chance of getting a decent total on the day overall if you can trade both.

Yes I imagine once you can master trading both you are significantly increasing your profitability.

Wow - well done. What style of trading was that achieved with?
Not really Archangel, I think if you can trade the one you can trade the other, I approach both exchanges pretty much the same.
Festival meetings are completely different to day to day meetings in any case, though I find that with the festival meetings on Betdaq the money seems a lot more 'real' if that makes any sense. I think it is something to do with the on course link up, though I find the big meetings always seem to trade really well on Betdaq.
I find the day to day stuff tricky on both exchanges if im honest, as it seems so hard to get any decent money matched these days, and I am often left with positions part matched or not matched at all, so have to use much smaller stakes. Trading Betdaq as well on those days just helps increase your chances of getting matched. So if you miss a trade on betfair, there is a chance you will be matched on Betdaq and vice versa.
Plus it is very hard to scale up stakes on betfair on the normal day to day meetings, I find it is far more profitable to trade smaller on both exchanges, than it is to try and up stakes on one.
