Wow, we didn't expect so much interest in our Beta.

Although it's much faster we're at capacity right now, so maybe try again later.

Meanwhile, you can continue to get the best odds on www.betfair.com.

If you've used our Beta let us know what you think and help make Betfair the best …

Any one else getting freeze ups?

Have been getting a few calls hanging during the afternoon but didn't think too much to it as it seemed okay after a second or two. But in the 4.10 race it was sticking for a good bit.

Cheers for the replies - probably a local issue then. Seems to have been fine since so fingers crossed it stays that way!

I just can't see any problems. Is this an ISP thing?

I can't work out why me or none of the team are seeing it. That's really odd, we are usually the first to pick up on these things.

What exactly are you seeing?

Agreed it is better now, I am with Zen Internet.

Happening with different software providers so can rule that out as well.

Common feature is the Betfair API

Haven't been able to work it out exactly as the panic sets in when the issue hits as you don't know what orders are in and what aren't.

Seems to me that the market continues to update in terms of prices and money in the market. But my orders don't update so if I submit an order it takes and age to go through, same if I cancel one or if it is matched.

So the issue seems to be with the data call relating to the individuals orders.

Edit: I don't see any strobing of prices.
