Been ducking a lot of the AW stuff this afternoon in favour of Newbury and Irish Guineas at the Curragh.

I've been nipping in and out thoughout the afternoon so nice to have a short break now between them

When I used to follow racing closely a few years ago I saw several flag-started 10-furlong races at Sandown (including a group race where the fav lost 10 lengths at the start) because they couldn't get the stalls into position in heavy ground!

I hope they got that sorted out by now.

Newbury was fully loaded with 8 or so seconds left. They managed to hold them and they jumped three seconds after post time! Impressive.
