....just managed to catch one of those spikes!!!! - £450 matched

that made up for my losses from yesterdays crash :)

When I used to follow racing closely a few years ago I saw several flag-started 10-furlong races at Sandown (including a group race where the fav lost 10 lengths at the start) because they couldn't get the stalls into position in heavy ground!

I hope they got that sorted out by now.

Newbury was fully loaded with 8 or so seconds left. They managed to hold them and they jumped three seconds after post time! Impressive.
