What happened there? Betfair took ages to suspend the market after that goal went in. There was time to get an order in on the goals market before someone at Betfair HQ pushed the button

In all fairness, Barca have totally justified their Evens starting price, United have been totally outclassed
A reality check for everyone who thinks the Premier League is the best league. The Champions by 9 points being made to look completely 2nd rate

As a Man U fan, I hate to admit it, but the scoreline flattered us! I didn't get the impression our guys were fired up (apart from during the first 10 minutes), but Barcelona were simply world class, and made us look ordinary.
I just hope our guys (and top footballers generally) can look at some of the things Barcelona do, and be inspired to incorporate aspects of it into their own game.

Barca were deserved winners tonight and, though it pains me to say it, were head and shoulders above United.
United's defence (assuming they can replace VDS) is good enough and I have faith in the strikers but the midfield needs an overhaul. It was pretty much the same players that couldn't live with Barca in 2009 and Barca have improved since then.
Tony V looked like things had finally caught up with him since coming back from his injury and Park had one of his poorer games.
I don't think tonight reflects particularly on the Premier League - I've never been one to bang on about how great the Premier League is - but Barca made every team in La Liga look second rate this season so it's no shame to lose to them.
This is a good United team, winning the league by 9 points, just not good enough to live with an exceptional Barcelona side.

I agree.
I'd have hated to be a United defender this evening! If you try to mark space, Barcelona will just curl the ball around you and try to put it into the back of the net. And if you try to close down a Barcelona player, he'll just pass the ball to one of his many teammates in the box, who will have a strike at goal!
How do you play against that?!?
