Football fans are a fickle bunch.

I bet lots of the Arsenal fans who were calling for Wenger's head a couple of months ago are now once again seeing him as a demi god come footballing genius...

The Henry signing will be interesting. It may give Arsenal some extra momentum.

Yup it's always intersting to see how some people react when times get tough at a club. I remember quite a few Man Utd fans calling for Fergie's head after they went 3 years without winning the league in the mid 2000s

I just changed my mind completely, another goal against Chelsea. Champions League for them I think next year (2012).

As a Man U fan, I'd be lying if I said I was gutted for Chelski!

Misery loves company, and all that!

Football Association report says Luis Suarez evidence 'unreliable' - http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/16375325.stm

'According to the report, Evra admitted that he begun the exchange with Suarez by referring to the Uruguayan's sister in Spanish.' - But I guess that's OK, given that he didn't use racist language...

A possible pre-cursor to the Untied defeat?

Bizarre!

I think there must be more to this than the article is telling us, as I can't see Fergie issuing a player with a 6 figure fine just for having a quiet meal with his wife and some friends!

As for the charades thing, the Mail are distorting what happened. Fergie was clearly amused by the reference to the Beckham boot incident, and the 'I'll get you for that' comment was made in jest.

United are insisting that Rooney missed the game through injury: http://uk.eurosport.yahoo.com/01012012/ ... inner.html

Interesting that they're refusing to comment on the fine though...

Given that Rooney wasn't going to be playing again for 5 days, I can't see the big issue with him going out and having a couple of drinks.

Now City lose as well! You would have got brilliant odds on an accumulator on those three results!

Suddenly Spurs look in a great position!
