I reckon the longer Putin refrains from using nukes the less likely it is to happen. He's getting hammered left right and centre. The crucial point would be if or when Ukraine recover Crimea. If he doesn't use nukes then he probably knows the threats' have worn off.

Also, winters can be very harsh in Ukraine, i reckon once Russian troops start running out of food, clean water, ammunition and medical supplies that thousands of them will desert their positions.
Within 2 weeks Ukraine will get the new HIMRAS system plus 240 missiles. If they used a small number to completly destory that bridge once and for all then Russian troops would ne fcuked. They cant fly in troops and supplies as loads were lost early on in the war due to other missile systems which they cant defend against.
I reckon December will be game changing and Putin will be forced to back down in a humilating defeat. He been warned by China not to go Nuclear who he tends to listen too.
The only question is what does a rat do when cornered!!!

Looks like Belarus is getting dragged into the war after all, their small military is reportedly even worse equipped. Meanwhile, Russian conscripts are arriving by train in cattle carts, you can't make this stuff up, like lambs to the slaughter SMH.
It's absolutely mad how everyone has gotten used to seeing these cowardly missile strikes on civilians and nuclear threats on a daily basis now, the world has well & truly turned upside down.
Might as well keep my profile picture like this, as a form of protest, until things return to some degree of normalcy.
Russia claims they only want to hit military targets or key infrastructure and you almost want to believe them, maybe they're trying to but their missile systems are fking useless at hitting their intended targets.

There are suggestions that Russia's running out of precision missiles and want to keep some stock for when/if NATO attack, so they might not be able to continue their threat. Also reports that they're running out of diesel and struggling to get re-supplied with the bridge blown up.

There can be no negotiations with Russia.
Zelenskyy and the Ukraine people will never let that happen.
Putin must go, if that means Russia goes too then so be it.
NATO has the means, stop being weak like the United Nations and security council.
Be bold, be brave and above all, be ruthless.

Agreed, no point. There is nothing to talk about.
Can't give Russia time to consolidate their gains, build new narratives, set up new false flag operations etc.
Back in February I thought it was mostly about taking Ukrainian natural resources but their plans seem to be much grander, just like people feared. In Putin's mind he should have been done with Ukraine by now.
You forgot to end your post with nuclear war being imminent.Archery1969 wrote: ↑Tue Oct 11, 2022 12:42 amThere can be no negotiations with Russia.

Are you sure that friend's wife's surname is not Braun? Does she like sausages and a good pint of beer?Archery1969 wrote: ↑Tue Oct 11, 2022 12:42 amThere can be no negotiations with Russia.
