Well let's wait to see how many sign up to Farage's call for the unbanked and in particular let's see how many are ordinary people trying to run a family business. Especially as the claimed 0.000001% that is does affect in a population of 68,000,000 equates to 0.68 of a person!Michael5482 wrote: ↑Thu Jul 27, 2023 2:14 pmhas absolutely no effect on 99.999999% of the general population.

Bit of a rogue Sadiq Khan he hasn't done Labour any favour's with this ULEZ and he'll pay at the ballot box. I don't live in London but as ever it's the poorest who'll be hit the hardest.
It's nothing more than a stealth tax to fill massive financial black holes due to his and others incompetence with tfl. If politicians provided adequate public transport it wouldn't be needed.

Nothing to wait and see for. Farage is milking it now, it doesn't affect the general public. Might get a few people making unsubstantiated claims in The Sun or some right wing rag with compo faces that's' about it.firlandsfarm wrote: ↑Fri Jul 28, 2023 9:08 amWell let's wait to see how many sign up to Farage's call for the unbanked and in particular let's see how many are ordinary people trying to run a family business. It's a single case where the bank admitted to closing his bank on political ground. It'll only dragging on because Farage is enjoying the limelight the pound shop politician he is.

Funny how some only consider something as a problem if it affects them and if it doesn't then they see things as a fuss about nothing ... let's see how many "a few" is shall we. And as for unsubstantiated claims, a closed account is a closed account and it is substantiated by itself. In my book that is a lot more than the (lack of) substantiation that it took the claim that Boris was lying or is this a clear case of "if I agree with something any dodgy substantiation is good substantiation but if I don't agree then it can never be substantiated"?!! Now where have I seen that approach to politics before!Michael5482 wrote: ↑Fri Jul 28, 2023 5:49 pmNothing to wait and see for. Farage is milking it now, it doesn't affect the general public. Farrage's hedge fund shorted NatWest.
Then they kicked up a stink, so the share price plummets. Then they exited the trade.
The hypocrisy of the conservatives in this country never ceases to amaze me. They claim virtuousness and a British sense of fair play, but are willing to lie, cheat, and steal at any opportunity they can create for themselves.
Indeed, they elected a leader who is nothing better than a lying journalist, someone so craven and despicable that he would even lie and obfuscate as to how many children he has. Hideous behaviour.
This country is in a mess because it has a record of voting in the incompetent political class at any opportunity - the most clear case of turkeys voting for christmas we have yet seen.
I'm not a big fan of Starmer, but at least he has done something in his life, he has shown excellence and competence to get where he did in his career, and then moved into politics.
Contrast that with George Osborne - he ruined our economy with austerity, sailed into a job editing the Standard - because apparently a 2:1 in modern history is a useful qualification for running the economy and then a newspaper - and has since been outed as having a character of the most awful 'quality' - allegations of rape, toilet sex with underage girls, taking advantage of inebriated women, and having multiple affairs and mistresses.
That's who some of you muppets voted for, and the mess this country has become is precisely what you deserve.

as said by the biggest muppet of them all for not just believing the tripe above but having the nerve to publish it. Sometimes I wish those trashed would sue for what unsubstantiated rubbish is sometimes published about them. The key word is "allegations", just like the baseless "allegations" against Spacey, Cliff Richard and Christopher Jefferies.arbitrage16 wrote: ↑Sat Jul 29, 2023 11:32 amFarrage's hedge fund shorted NatWest.

Is it possible for the buffoon to sue 30 million people?firlandsfarm wrote: ↑Sat Jul 29, 2023 1:46 pmas said by the biggest muppet of them all for not just believing the tripe above but having the nerve to publish it. Hahah, have you read the allegations? Absolutely bang to rights. If not....why doesn’t he sue? I think we all know why.
And look at you, defending the lowest of the low. We know what that makes you.

Nope, wrong again ... I'm criticising the lower than the lowest. Thank God we have a legal system where it takes more than unsubstantiated baseless accusations from someone who is so wrought with hate that they can't think clearly and logically to find someone guilty. For all I know you like little boys ... maybe that's an allegation to pursue!arbitrage16 wrote: ↑Sat Jul 29, 2023 5:12 pmHahah, have you read the allegations? Absolutely bang to rights. Oh dear, sometimes a remark can be too subtle for some, especially those who's use of language is limited to baseless insults! Let me help you, I will explain: my "unfounded allegation" was to show that anybody can say anything about anybody but I guess that was wasted on you. And as for the extraordinarily thick, do you have a mirror?arbitrage16 wrote: ↑Sun Jul 30, 2023 9:52 amSo complaining about "unfounded allegations", by making unfounded allegations?! hahaha, you really are extraordinarily thick LOL!firlandsfarm wrote: ↑Sat Jul 29, 2023 10:26 pmNope, wrong again ... Hahaha! Thinking that a mirror would be of any use in gauging stupidity or otherwise is, as I’m sure even you now realise, in itself pretty stupid.firlandsfarm wrote: ↑Sun Jul 30, 2023 4:54 pmOh dear, sometimes a remark can be too subtle for some, especially those who's use of language is limited to baseless insults! You left school with very few qualifications and whilst you’ve done okay for yourself, given your limitations, you’re clearly out of your depth. It’s obvious from the way you write and struggle to form arguments.
Just another dumb boomer.
