Somebody types it in, do you think Great Leighs automatically converted to Chelmsford City by magic?
Surely not, there's a decent little business opportunity supplying all the bookies, all the newpapers, SL, TF and 100s of others with course, race & runner info. It's hard to imagine everyone has a junior typing everything by hand everyday, and what sort of list are they copying from that couldn't be uploaded? Std name conversions are a simple find/replace.

The business that supplies the information will have to have someone to type it in. :)

Never been Pinatubo’s biggest fan either, also thought they might go down in trip rather than back to a mile, though he did come home well there. Probably end up breeders cup mile if they go over.

Thought that was another great ride by PCB, he is one of my fav jockeys now. How come Doyle was back on Pinatubo and Buick at York? Obviously couldn’t have been a weight thing, maybe something to do with quarantine? Or did they just want to switch back to Doyle as he mainly rode him as a 2 yo.
I felt like they went super quick but everyone else seems to think they went slow!?

I think Doyle knew he doesn't have much sprint over a mile so he lefr him as long as he could, just beaten by a really good horse imo.

Yes firm ground on a flat track over 1m at the BC will definitely suit.

Yeah I agree, Doyle will get shit for that, but I think his hand was forced to an extent. He wanted to drop in and save something and had to follow Siskin, who let the front two get too far ahead.

I just think PCB nicked it about 3 out off the bend. They all started to try and close but they swung wide to follow Ryan on CM. Meanwhile PCB had kicked on the rail and was suddenly clear again.

I think he’s a great jockey, certainly rides longchamp well anyway.

Narrr they'd just be aggregating what they get sent from the individual sporting authorities, and those will just be filling in templates you'd think or at least using some sort of basic validation.

Wherever there's data there's a whole ecosystem of people making a buck from acquisition aggregation and supply. Bloombergs did quite well out of it :D

Are the betfair graphs working a bit better now, or is it just me?

Though don’t seem quite right, still have to hit refresh, though they don’t seem as delayed as they have been ?

My first day on the racing properly since US Open started so it's been steady away so far at Donny for me

Although that 17k dumped on the fav in the opener cocked up my positions a bit!

Thanks Dallas. Yes it’s doing it again for me now, I must have just been looking at runners whose price was static. Seems ok when I refresh, though still not real time unfortunately.

Chelmsford 6.00 suspended, but didn't go In-Play!
