What happened in that three runner at Newcastle. Was that another cock up?

Looks like they spent so long trying to get the fav into the stalls that when it eventually went in the starter forgot there was another one out the back

I shouldn't laugh that cost me money!

Thanks jimibt

Thanks Trader724, not sure what you mean, are you basically saying limit your self to the kinds of trades your profitable and bin the rest?

First day of automation for real money

Played 19 markets

16 profitable
3 losses

2 of losses from Scalping Cross Over Points

16 profits from Back to lay on Favs in certain type / field sizes / classes of races based on fav strike rates etc

Non greedy B2L strategy

I'll take that strike rate if I can keep it up!!

Only if the net profit on those trades increases constantly and after a large number of trades otherwise it is just normal variation in which a losing strategy makes money temporarily.

good going. you mention you played 19 markets (up until now). I guess that must have been pretty much all of them - and why not!!

was wondering how you'd managed to find 17 similar setups (for BTL) from those 19 races, based on the criteria you mention. not trying to pinch your IP, but I can't see 16 races this afternoon that have any similarity - what am i missing ?? :D

Is that how your typical day would go Pat. lots of small wins and small losses that cancel each other out, but one or two largish wins that make the profit?
Ideally you want your average profit to be bigger than your average loss and then a few really decent trades like that one yesterday thrown in on top
