Been trying to find who supports Putin.
Syria and Venezuela with China sitting on the fence and Pakistan chatting to Putin about stuff. Plus Belarus of course, but hey that's only because Lukashenko feels safe from Putin.
A pretty feeble list of support.
Putin has turned Russia into a pariah state.
Gorbachev must be watching these events with disbelief and probably dismay.

Quite unfair. James pointed out that Nato et al are not squeaky clean. Iraq, Afghanistan (the worst of the lot for me. Talk about running away).
And we(?) have sat on our hands over Yemen.
But this one is different. TBH Putin's body language is a bit weird. Hope to God that he doesn't have the ability to press the nuke button or 'persuade' those around him that a tatical nuclear war is winnable.

A leading professor in Russia says Putin is mentally and physically unwell. He has already moved his family to a Nuclear Bunker in the Siberian Mountains. Putin explained some time ago that there systems are automated but can be started by just himself.

I have not doubt that WW3 is just around the corner unless someone at the FSB successfully removes him asap.

It’s pretty obvious Russia did what they needed to do.

I don't for a second buy the media line that Putin has lost his marbles, maybe he wants the world to think that. I think he saw an opportunity to take advantage of weak leadership in Europe, US, UK... but massively miscalculated the backlash there would be to his actions.

Having said that if he really has gone mental the sooner our alien overlords get here the better. Only they can save us! :D

The Estonian Prime Minister, Kaja Kallas. Why can't we have her as PM? :D

Maybe one of the Russian politicians, Natalia Poklonskaya could take over from Putin, sooner rather than later...

He's gone from KGB hard man to cry-baby. His eyes, the anger in his facial expression and withdrawal from reality and what the rest of the world will believe, his paranoia and necessity to keep 20 metres from his close circle - all the hallmarks of a true nutter. :)

I still don't buy it. IMO he's intentionally taken on the role of unpredictable loony from Kim Jong Un and improved on it. Just like Joaquin Phoenix did when taking over the role of Joker from Heath Ledger.

And just today Robin to Putin's Batman Dmitry Medvedev, responded on Twitter to a French official who said they had declared economic war on Russia by saying

"Watch your tongue, gentlemen! And don’t forget that in human history, economic wars quite often turned into real ones"

Its unlikely that Medvedev has gone and had a mental breakdown at the same time as Putin, it seems more likely that they're setting their war rhetoric to the same level. Along with putting his nuclear forces on high alert it all adds to his unpredictability and when it comes time to have peace talks the power brokers won't underestimate him because they can't be sure what he's going to do next. If there is madness behind it all then there's definitely some method to it :)

It's not method to his madness, it's madness in his methods. :)

Look beyond her beauty and into her eyes. She looks quite serious, what's she thinking? She could be worse than Putin. :o
