UK General Election 2024 (or 25)
1922 committee can change their rules, they can vote against the next budget resulting in a powerless government, humility on Truss's part, although that's unlikely, or perhaps the sheer embarrassment and humiliation will make her step down.

I did warn people that Truss would be a disaster many months ago.
Although I didn’t think it would be this quick.
Her only get out of jail card is to do what Mrs ‘T’ did in the 1980s and go to War.
Unfortunately that could be the end for us all. Therefore, if I were the men in dark/white suits then I would whisk her away quickly before she asks the cat for the launch codes.

Any chance the Argies might be pursuaded to invade the Falklands again?Archery1969 wrote: ↑Fri Oct 14, 2022 4:53 pmI did warn people that Truss would be a disaster many months ago.

I'm convinced Truss is a robot. Her vocabulary seems limited as such. "I am determined to deliver", "I acted decisively", "What I have done today", "I have acted in the national interest", etc.
The only time she ever will genuinely act in the national interest is when she resigns.
