Pavel Antov, a Russian tycoon who openly criticised the war has "fallen from a window" in an Indian hotel, on Christmas Day. Cause of death, Putin!

Happy New Year.
Can anyone explain this rant?
"Mr Putin also accused the West of "provoking" Moscow to launch its invasion of Ukraine on 24 February.
"The West lied about peace. It was preparing for aggression... and now they are cynically using Ukraine and its people to weaken and split Russia," he said."
A proper King Canute.

Russia converting S-300 and S-400 anti-aircraft missiles and KH59 anti-ship missiles designed to destroy aircraft carriers, to attack land-based targets instead. Good news for NATO at least, they won't have any missiles left when WWIII breaks out.
Just watched Sunak on Kuenssberg. We seem to have gone from buffoon to haflwit and now vacuum. Sooner we get rid of the Tories lunacy and replace it with some Labour lunacy the better. I don't think Labour can do any worse. What a terrible admission for a lefty! We're doomed Captain Mainwaring!!!! Doomed!!!!

In the face of the contuing support for Ukraine, Putin/Russia/Kremlin (whoever it is that's making the decisions) has/have clearly decided to withdraw during the winter from battlefield combat and instead to chuck missiles from long range. It strikes me as a naive tactic. The resut will be Ukraine's friends supplying increasingly sophisticated weapons. Putin or whoever should recognise they're rubbish at this stuff and have created a coalition against them far stronger than it was before.Archery1969 wrote: ↑Thu Jan 19, 2023 6:15 pmNine countries met on Thursday and agreed to send the following:

You have to take your hat off to Ukraines resilience and self belief. Yes they getting allot of military support from the west but on paper Russia should role over them in a few weeks given the number of tanks, fighter jets, attack helicopters and size of their armed forces.
Just goes to show that if you don’t know what your doing then numbers mean fuck all.
Would much rather have Ukraine and it’s people on my side if I needed them, they not scared of anything or anyone.
