I was only half listening to Starmer's speech but I think he did pretty well, in my unbiased opinion.

However, when Hamas start killing innocent young people, including kids and babies......I find that appalling

I accept your apology, but the important thing is that if a bunch of nutters celebrate grotesque events, you need to think of them as a bunch of nutters, not lefties or Labour supporters, just nutters. I'm fully behind Israel and want Hamas wiped of the face of the Earth.

As I mentioned on the jokes thread, the full extent of the humour was "why am I the only one...", I knew nothing of the context.

I would be disgusted with anyone showing contempt for dead babies & kids, but I couldn't care less about somebody complaining outside the Labour conference because he thinks that's what they're doing. Somebody complains on every street corner.

To wipe Hamas off the Earth you will have to wipe the members of Hamas off the Earth. These people will not be going home on a Friday night vowing not to return to their role and start flying the Star of David the next day ... to wipe Hamas off the Earth you will have to exterminate them. Now it's reasonable they have families so it's reasonable that some of those families will become one-parent while other will become parentless.

Definition of Orphan: a child whose parents are dead.

So it follows if you wipe Hamas off the face of the Earth you likewise wipe their members off the face of the Earth so many families will lose parents, some both parents.
