Sunak: We're only halfway through this election.

Is that good news or bad, Richi?

Migrant No.2 heading to Rwanda, with a £3000 payoff and presumably five years free lodging. So that could be two migrants Sunak sends before the election.

Nutcase Farage is planning to spend an extra £141 billion while cutting taxes. He calls it out of the box thinking!

Nutcase Nigel says it's impossible to know if Reform UK can keep their pledge on low taxes because no politician can predict the future!

That's not out of the box thinking Nigel, that's thinking when you're out of your head.

Well, he might have a point. All politicians promise stuff but rarely fulfill all Their commitments. Things change, I am sure Labour will change their promises once in power. And will a mega majority they will do what they like unchecked.

Starmer should just be honest and admit their not ruling anything out, rather than ignoring the question. But promising the Earth while admitting you might not be able to honour the promise is incredibly stupid, even for a politician!

I think he is accurate there for once. He is completely out of his box. 2024 is not a target. Nonsense. 2024 is to drag down the Tories. 2029? Lng way away but good luck with that Nige. As he's said the Tories hate him. Does anyone like him apart from xenophobes and folk who think Brexit was a good idea, but badly implemented and Truss economics was only half as bad as what Reform are suggesting?

Sunak tried to feed some sheep (obviously an essential skill for a prime minister) but they all ran away to the other side of the field. He can't do anything right.

So, the Labour Party are planning to build onshore wind farms in the Welsh valleys and Scottish highlands by bypassing and rewriting planning laws.

I bet that’s going to go down like a lead balloon.

The reason people move to the countryside is to get away from the rat race, tower blocks, neighbours, pylons, shopping centres and city life.

The UK is an island, the tides go out and the tides come in. It’s not rocket science is it compared to horrible windfarms that produce very little if anything when there is no wind.

Mini nuclear stations plus tidal power is the way forward as proposed by Rolls Royce. More efficient, less impact on communities and not such an eye sore.

Sort it out….

Starmer's well in preparation for the job of PM ... and making an arse of himself. I've always wondered what he means by "working people". He now defines them as people who work and can't afford to write a cheque when they're in trouble!

Looks like we're in for it over the next 4-5 years. What decade is he living in? Does anyone still use a cheque book?

There might be an interesting little trade for some here

YouGov are predicting Ben Habib may win Wellingborough and Rushden for Reform

There is currently £64 available to take on that constituency market at 10.00

That money might be worth taking out

I think upon clarification he meant “people who work don’t have savings they can call upon if they in trouble”

Now a secret memo has been leaked about Labour going after those with savings and private pensions over a certain amount.

Personally, I am very glad I moved all my finances out of the UK a few months ago.

I think people with any kind of assets are going to get hammered. After all, they have to close the black hole and already committed to not raising income tax and NI on basic rate tax payers.

Be interesting to see what they do once in power. Might get another 1970s when the rich did a runner overseas.
