i cant believe it,,,non runner now...
shit.....!!!!!
ha-ha, someone let the cat out of the bag and the gamble was ruined so the stable pulled the horse, I bet connections are fuming right now.
Thanks Jeff. I didn't realise that but I won't be using the games any more...just a one off to use up the bonus. tbh i didn't even think i had won, it was only later on when i noticed it...and they are not getting it back!Ferru123 wrote:You do realise it's theoretically impossible to get an edge with arcade games?redtra wrote:a good day today and to top it all i had a bonus from betfair to be used in the arcade games. The odds are stacked in the house's favour...

Cheers guys.redtra wrote:I did well in the afternoon races but not very good in the evening races, A few times this has happened, i do ok up to about 5.30pm then suddenly i seem to make lots of bad trades. That is odd L.o.s but it does indicate it is my trading that is at fault. I am going to try an experiment and not trade the afternoon races but just the evening. Maybe my approach changes after trading for a few hours or maybe I take chances in the evening. Thanks for letting me know of your own experiences. Hopefully this experiment will highlight any problem areas.L.o.S wrote: Strange redtra, I have the opposite.. I don't know whether it's down to less traders in the markets but I've found it's easier to read in the evening. Lots of gambles going on etc. Odd that we have totally opposite experiences
I am exact same and have decided it is not the afternoon versus the evening.. but the actual amount of time spent trading, that works/does not work for me, ie yesterday trading fine all afternoon then blew it and ended the day down...immediately stopped. reviewing I see this has happened before... ie maybe I can only be affective for a few hours, then it tails off. as a saturday is so big I try and plan it better ie get fed and watered and take several breaks around races I don't like during the afternoon; never make the saturday evening races as I prefer going to the pub by then..redtra wrote:I did well in the afternoon races but not very good in the evening races, A few times this has happened, i do ok up to about 5.30pm then suddenly i seem to make lots of bad trades. That is interesting Groovyelms maybe the same happens to me. I remember after the first full days trading, I was so tired as if I had spent the whole day doing a tough physical job, and i slept very well that night. That could be it...lack of concentration. 2-3 hours could be my limit so that's another thing to try!Groovyelms wrote:
