It's normal in war to create orphans. Every soldier killed potentially creates orphans. What were you expecting?
Fine so you agreed with me from the outset so why all the floundering opposition to my comment ... you wanted Hamas exterminated, all I said was that would create lots of orphans. You really need to be less sensitive! :D
No you flipping didn't! You said that I would create orphans!
So you couldn't see that I was referring to the act and not the person ... and you blame me for picking arguments!

Question arises at the Covid inquiry as to whether Carrie Johnson was in charge during the Covid crisis. Wouldn't be a bad think if she was, somebody had to take charge. :)

Peter bonehead suspended for bullying, sexual misconduct, exposing himself to staff, demanding a massage, etc. But of course, Buffoon Boris didn't know anything about it when he made him deputy leader.

The government's come up with three ideas to solve the problem of prison overcrowding:
  • Let burglars pick litter
  • Let foreign prisoners out
  • Send UK prisoners on holiday abroad

What's the point in a gay guy exposing himself to other blokes? He may as well just use a public changing room and do it without breaking the law.

Why should he, was it public within Westminster?

The complaint was raised with cons HQ in 2017 and they basically sat on it. Eventually complainant went to parliament's own watchdog due to lack of action.

Johnson made him deputy leader with complaint still being investigated. Maybe he didn't give a hoot?

Yes I forgot, I had recently heard that. But by sitting on it did they also not tell BJ? He should have been made aware but was he? It makes me think of Sir Humphrey's assertion that there are things the Minister does not want to be made aware of! :D

He shouldn't. That's why I said, of course Buffoon Boris didn't know anything about it when he made him deputy leader.

Edit: just read sionascaig's post. Should have known better. :)

Two by-elections today in Mid-Beds and Tamworth. Tories trading as favorites (around evens) in Mid-Beds but market is currently predicting a Labour walkover in Tamworth.

Layed the Tories in both early doors this morning can't go wrong with the "Lay the Tory" strategy.

Sunak needs to be careful going to the Middle-East and getting the UK dragged in especially if it all goes off. The UK is skint people are living hand to mouth so don't think there's much appetite for the UK to get involved in another conflict either by proxy or planes in the sky dropping bombs.

I heard on the news that Chris Bumpincher's old seat of Tamworth looks close, but they're 1.16 on Betfair.

Edit: they must have been talking about Mid Bedfordshire, Labour just over 3.

Looks like Labour are taking both seats, and the good people of Tamworth can now see their MP without fear of having their bums pinched. :D

Second biggest Tory - Labour swing in history, second to Dudley 1991. And I wouldn't mind being groped by the newly installed MP at Tamworth.
