Big gamble on Little Wendy (after a big stake knocking the price to over double), then bounced like a clown's bouncy ball

Five fold rule 4 at Windors 19:05. Only one short of the record six I once saw at Leicester a few years back.

the fav bolted through stall doors before the off, then another bolted through as they were trying to catch the fav, they were duly removed from the market, race then started one refused. not sure what happened to the other two, presume they refused.

Anyone else notice someone playing with about 14,000 as a backer.

The 4.15 Foss Lass was backing at very short prices, horse they backed came about last I think in the race, but didn't stop some hammering pre-race.

I've sort of avoided Ffast Los, so hadn't noticed.

Yep, the type of bomber who drags his price down and leaves it sitting for a time before lowering again.

I presumed it was a trader, rather than backer, but yes, Bomber-style trading.

They seemed to disappear after a while, and price recovered partly just before off.

Thing is, using it on meetings like Ffos Las where the market average amounts are like £30 showing for selections, then 14k turns up...

disagree, seems like same presumed bettor as recent days just adjusting their style as they try to minimise how much value they're giving away
have seen lots of this kind of activity and fake activity (from traders) in dog markets over yrs

whoever it was, they provided me a nice bday gift ^^

Yep, if a backer, they are getting awful value - backing way under previous prices heavy, on a horse that finishes last place.

As trader though, the problem is it can skew markets way too much.
