Poor Bowen, his first 2 games are against City and Liverpool with a team battling for survival
Missed that transfer...Opportunity for Leeds gone. Good business for Hull @ £20million! (mind you Leeds tend to do loan deals for now)
Yeah decent business but we won't see that money again

Grosicki is so overhyped so glad to get rid of him

I think Leeds buying Bowen would've been wrong especially for that kind of money, he can be a bit greedy and that wouldn't fit into Bielsa's style

Impressive first half by Saints, not seen many better performances at Anfield this season from a visiting team.

Their away form is really good this season. But they are a nightmare at home.

Watford fans trying to beat the queue at half time are in for a shock when they get back to their seats!

Thought Hasenhüttl got the tactics spot on at first, matched Liverpool's intensity and then some, their aggression was City-esque at times and almost caught Liverpool out more than once.

But they went a bit too gung ho straight after the first goal and played straight into Liverpool's hands with their biggest strength coming from those transitions and counters, wave after wave. Still, deserve credit for coming to play and really going for it. Looked like both managers enjoyed the game and the sheer intensity of it in the end there.

Liverpool look a decent price tonight. These young lads are growing in experience with every passing match. They beat Everton's first team at Anfield, so odds of 2.06 to beat Shrewsbury is a cracking price

It sure would be nice to be able to watch the game on TV somewhere, anywhere. But unfortunately the FA is too butthurt and has decided to punish both Liverpool and Shrewsbury by disrespecting their own cup. I'm sure that will teach them, brilliant move.

He actually said salt but whatever floats your boat James :)

Speaking of salt, just seen Mourinho's quotes about Klopp a minute ago, it's practically a chant.

Jose Mourinho: "Jurgen Klopp is Jurgen Klopp. He does what he wants. He does what his board want him to do or allows him to do. He does what the rules allow him to do or does not allow him to do. He does what he wants."

Brilliant effort from Jose, hope the fans can adopt this new chant.

A lot of people seem to agree with that, since Liverpool got overbacked relatively early yesterday, so much so that it triggered a reversal. Shame there wont be any teamnews surprises but Harvey Elliott is on fire currently, having scored a banger bicycle goal a few days ago.

A novel way of celebrating your team's late winner.....

This may be interesting to some of the stats guys out there, copied over from elsewhere.

"Borussia Dortmund is having a crazy season under Lucien Favre - in their last 15 games in all competitions there was 74 goals scored, average of 4.93 goals per game. 44 goals scored by Dortmund (2.93 / game) and 30 goals conceded (2.00 / game)."

Image

They just lost 4-3 on top of that as well.
