In my filter in Guardian, I'm also seeing a 'Test 27th Oct - To Be Placed'....does anyone else get this??

The Test markets were there yesterday as well, like yesterday there were today win, place, 3TBP and each way test markets. I assume it is something Betfair are testing on the API. That 1800 market has now been closed. It was a repeat of the 1800 Newcastle 25/10/2021 race. Sadly you couldn't back the winner

Betfair are a bit hit and miss with posting up the 4TBP extra place markets, sometimes an hour before racing.

As an example, the Betfair 'To Be Placed' market for the 6.30pm at Dundalk is a Hcap with 17 runners and yet only 3 places...and there are no non-runners.

Anyone know why?

There is a separate 4TBP market for the 1830 available. As well as a 2TBP and the TBP market (3).

I'm aware of the other 2TBP, 3TBP or 4TBP markets. My question is aligned to the 'Place' market only.

So, why is a 16 runner Hcap race have 4 to be placed (in the 'Place' market) and a 17 runner Hcap have 3 to be placed (in the 'Place' market)?

This was first thing this morning and I know there are some non-runners now but that does not change the number of places.
