Agree, but it does irritate me when TV producers think the average horse racing enthusiast likes to see winning owners celebrate. I remember when Michael Stoute trained his first St. Ledger winner (can't remember the horse or year), Channel 4 didn't even show viewers who finished second - the camera immediately switched to Stoute's celebration!

Forget about it, such a record is utterly pointless and useless and likely to cost you money. Losing is part of trading and you don't get any bonus for a 100% record. You will end up not taking trades you normally would just for fear of having a negative result.
I remember Peter posted about doing the same kind of thing trying to get his longest winning streak or something like that but ended up realising it actually cost him more money as he started to trade so defensively looking not to lose rather than looking to win.

P/L pays the bills; strike-rate doesn't.
My strike rate is around 80% and i've actually found that for period where my strike rate increase to the high 80s my profitability decreases. For me it it's a useless measure and I haven't recorded it for years. Save the sweat.

It also irritates me when you hear on ITV, ATR or just now on racing.com, that somebody has £50,000 on a particular horse. Does anyone care? We can all see how much money's going through the market!Derek27 wrote: ↑Sat Nov 03, 2018 5:13 amAgree, but it does irritate me when TV producers think the average horse racing enthusiast likes to see winning owners celebrate. Congrats Derek. That must be a good feeling. My bot made a whole $1.73...
