I was brought up in West Norwood, South London (same place as Adele) and I used to call it a shithole every time I went back there.

Things have changed now, fast food outlets getting replaced with restaurants, houses being renovated and prices rocketing, City workers moving in because it's on a train route to Central London.

So much for Tories levelling up!

Slight off topic but Juniniho was a beautiful footballer used to go over and watch them train as Middleborough bought the land from the school I went to next door and built Rockliffe Hall and training ground but at that time it was just porta cabins on some grass. Bryan Robson and Viv Anderson used to come over and take a few footy lessons as well after school and donated Boro strips.

Remember one winter we snowballed Fabrizio Ravenalli's Merc and he chased for ages, mans was an absolute lunatic
