Markets like the Cup is are where PIQ is invaluable imo, trying to keep track of so many positions manually is neigh on impossible.

Looks like I dodged a bullet at Ranwick, that’s a confidence boost

I think I shot my criticism of BF down myself - the Cup is on the first Tuesday not the second! And I have only been following the Cup for 55 years.

Well done to Shraaoh who won the earlier staying race on the card ..only been in Australia six weeks , no trial run.won at Goodwood in June for Harry Fry of a mark of 91, previously trained by Michael Stoute

His only other win came on the all weather .. two runs in soft ground in UK .. finished 13/13 and 15/16.

Furthur illustrates the dearth of staying horses in Australia.

Just double-figure bets being traded on the front two at the moment.

I was enjoying it until the favourite collapsed.

Good race though, hope The Cliffsofmoher is alright.

Matched volume up almost 18% from last year. In pounds it will probably be slightly less due to currency depreciation.

He will have been put down as he broke his leg.

I got caught on the favourite price collapse and on another runner so gave back some of my green late on but still very happy with the results.

Several notes added to the calendar for trading it next year.
