What's he been up to today? I can't say I've seen him.

Someone just backed Utopian to the tune of about 30K in the 17:15 Font.

Utopian did go on to win, however, so it might not have been our friend!

Has the Mad Bomber been about much lately?

Bump - to allow continuation of this topic as mentioned in the 'Today's Racing' thread. There have been other such threads like this one between 2012 and 2015, I think this is one of the earlier ones though.

Yesterdays activity could be something so simple and daft that because of the BF PP merger in the news someone with money to burn has just discovered BF for the first time and therefore the art of laying is all new to him so like a kid a xmas they just got very over excited. ;)

I think everyone has their own view on what was and wasn't the bomber, my view is that the flasher, backer and layer are all the same entity.

Remembering back there were days where one race there were big backs, the next big lays. Just doing a quick scan of this thread there is talk about big laying and also some of the stakes being taken into the inplay market.

On a side note it is sad to see that many of the 'old timers' are no longer around and haven't logged on for many months and in some cases years. Doesn't seem to be as many FT traders around anymore - then there are the sad farts like me who still enjoy reading about all the market goings on in the dream that one day the PC will be ditched :(
