Is it just me or does anyone else think its rather odd a military force can enter Russian land and take control of a city, where is all the Russian firepower and troops we been hearing about for decades ?
Good question, maybe Russia aren't the military might they portray to be.

The West should be piling weapons into Ukraine now perfect opportunity to oust Russia from the Ukraine and Putin to boot.

Maybe because most of the Russian front line are cannon fodder.

I agree, perfect time for the Ukrainians as Wagner are just as bad as Putin so whoever wins they’ll come back twice as hard at Ukraine

Wagner group facing little opposition and reports they have taken control of a second city.

Unconfirmed reports from Ukraine frontline that Russian and Wagner troops have turned on each other.

All pretty good from a former hot dog seller. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Putin looking very angry indeed. "Wagner Group rebellion is treason", this could get very messy if the Russian people start getting behind Wagner Group
Why would they? Notorious group with unattractive "leader".
They don't need to shag him, just join him. ;)

Before the war, I thought the $-400 was the most sophisticated AA defence in the world. I now believe it was just the demo/prototypes that worked, the rest are made of spare parts. They can't even stop 100mph drones.

Once Putin's ousted, I don't think Wanker will fancy taking on Ukraine and the West. It will be game over.

The fact that Putin has felt the need to make a broadcast on the subject suggests to me that he can see cracks developing in his authority.
To go public is pretty desperate. What will your average Russian conclude? I doubt they feel threatened by Wagner. We might see a mass refusal to stop them. The sub-tsars are already telling people to stay indoors. That isn't about concern for their welfare, it's about ensuring that anyone on the road is potentially Wagner and is more easily targeted. And I'm sure if civilians get mixed up in any conflict between Putin and Wagner, Putin won't give two hoots.

Lets hope not. I didn't know the meaning of the phrase, but it appears to represent the moment that Caesar began his journey from governership to supremacy. Well until he got stabbed to death by a coalition of the enemies that he'd made.

I still believe Russia has never really become a democracy. And if anything has been reversing fast into dictatorship. The Russian elite are doomed unless they reform. Problem is they might take the rest of us with them into the abyss.

Something similar happened in 1991. I think that was a failed communist coup. It lead to Yeltsin, and ultimately Putin !
