I found it on the geeks toy forum.

Iv herd the same thing, but I'm keen to what develops. They sound like they are keen improve . We all know that betfair trade their own markets , I don't see how matchbook is any different ?

I think there is a decent Aussie market there due to the fact that we can't access betdaq.

Betfair trade their own markets but they don't ban people, but I suppose charging 40-60% is like banning them.

I think you are better off making existing players do a better job. We need a pool of losers to make money from not a pool of smart money looking to make money from us.

Yup, I would very much like to trade there, but because my country (Slovenija) is banned I'm stuck :(

I know I can use the VPS, but because I'm a newbie and at the beginning of my career, as all students I'm short on money...

Peter please lobby also at BD to open itself to the world :)

Is that true that they ban winners?

I was looking to open an account there and saw this, after a bit of google search I didn't saw anything related.

Anyone?

Hey naff, he didn't really go into detail about what he was doing? How do you know that he wasn't court siding?

There should be no reason to ban anybody on a true exchange. That is why the PC was introduced in the first place. Rather that than ban people which would undermine the proposition of an exchange.

how?
It's nice to see this has generated some discussion. So it's either move to Betdaq or try and work out ways to increase generated commission %.

I've discovered you get 3% implied commission on losing bets but i still don't understand everything in my head well enough to do the math on that.

Won't losing bets just reduce your profits by about the same amount PC will anyway? Does this mean people have a free punt with their expected weekly PC amount the night before it's due? Also when you trade isn't one side always a losing bet, so does that generate implied commission?
It would be great if someone who pays PC can confirm if you generate 3% implied commission on the losing side of trades including scratch trades please?

Sorry about that. The thinking behind my questions is firstly to try and establish, as a trader, what the base rate commission generated % is likely to be.

The second part of the question about scratch trades is trying to understand how to generate commission % without increasing gross profits.
