Jean Delesse - Professional Betfair trader (scam)
That's really bad, especially considering he was posting on here for a while. I'd hate to think I engaged with a conman on this forum!
What are BF doing to investigate claims that he's scamming accounts, or are they not interested?

Betfair is doing nothing about it as keeping your credentials for yourself only is purely your responsibility. Although provided all this evidence they could at least ban the IP or something among those lines. I believe he was banned from this forum at least as he was attemtping to defend himself back in Feb.
Unfortunately there is not much one can do to stop scams like that. There are always gonna be people who believe in this magic bullet nonsense and they will be willing to give away whatever it takes for a chance to get rich. I almost got hooked myself but luckily lost only £2. Probably the best way to tackle that would be massive exposure, social media can be very powerful tool.
When I've spoken to Betfair about this in the past they indicated that if the customer willingly gave their details over there isn't much they can do. But you would think that closing a known fraudster account should be of interest to them. But I guess you would need a group of people to come forward and complain.
As it is, people don't like to say they have been caught out so few people come forward and the con continues.

Aslo using same email that I use for skrill, but created on @gmail.com, obviously facebook removed it immediately but my question is; would he be able to do any financial or other sort of damage with my identity? he does know my dob I think but thats all. He is also a member of this forum I would think

Was also approached by this guy Jean so did a Google search on him. It's the same MO throughout - wants 35% commission...prefers to use Netteller transfer so can use his own platform and can double outlay every month etc etc...I was considering trying him for a few k, I have an open mind but off course am suspicious.
If he can double the outlay every month then why does he need other people's money? He's already a millionaire very quickly from just 10k of his own money. But then why do Fx traders need other people's money if they are so good?! Always better to use other people's money off course.
Results and screens can always be photoshopped so no point looking at the ones he sent.
Obviously I'm not stupid enough to send him money thru Netteller for use on his own alleged platform. Just trying to work out how he can screw me if he has access to my Betfair account?? One Twitter comment says he is cleaning out BF accounts, but how can he get the funds from my BF account? The amount of deposit will always be withdrawn to the deposit account or card, so unless he has a way to tell them the original account no longer exists since the bank closed the account and needs the money to be withdrawn to another account, he cant get my funds. If he did manage to change the withdrawal account to his he would need to get all my security questions and addresses correct and as far as I know this is not on my BF account.
The other thing he could do is he could demand more commission later and if I refuse he can just go into my BF account and deliberately lose everything before I change the password? Has someone experienced this?
Also - from the Google searches the total amount that he has allegedly cheated is 800 euros and someone else said they lost 2GBP thru him! Not a very good scammer if this is the amount he has made. Off course there might be those too shy to report it, but I doubt it, if you been scammed the first thing most people do is to go onto the internet.
The other thing is if he has my BF login maybe there's enough info there for identity fraud? But I can't see any of my really personal details.
So can someone tell me how this guy can really screw me?? Much appreciated!

Good video Peter. It's such a shame that there's so many desperate and naive people around.Euler wrote:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JExKRPkhZ0w
