It shouldn't be this hard to use a piece of software.greenmark wrote: ↑Thu Oct 31, 2019 5:13 pmRead your post here. As far as I can tell I need to Lay All selections but it asking me to insert the odds but I want to use a percentage.

That's the most intelligent comment you've made. But perhaps says more about you than the Betangel software.JustLukeYou wrote: ↑Thu Oct 31, 2019 5:18 pmIt shouldn't be this hard to use a piece of software.greenmark wrote: ↑Thu Oct 31, 2019 5:13 pmRead your post here. No one on here seems to know how to set up a stop loss for 80% of the stake value so how am I supposed to know. It also appears no one knows whether the software automatically places a Lay bet which sits as unmatched until it is potentially needed.
NO ONE!!! hmmm...JustLukeYou wrote: ↑Thu Oct 31, 2019 6:03 pmNo one on here seems to know how to set up a stop loss for 80% of the stake value so how am I supposed to know. I know - but then as you have mentioned - I'm a genius.JustLukeYou wrote: ↑Thu Oct 31, 2019 6:03 pmNo one on here seems to know how to set up a stop loss for 80% of the stake value so how am I supposed to know. Why is it asking me to enter the odds when the odds are variable?
Luke - it's one thing to be a bit naive as to how the markets work regarding trading. it's quite another to not be able to clearly understand the user manual and how to use the software. what page are you on so far??JustLukeYou wrote: ↑Thu Oct 31, 2019 6:11 pmWhy is it asking me to enter the odds when the odds are variable?
Because you started first with the incorrect assumption that you should 'lay all'JustLukeYou wrote: ↑Thu Oct 31, 2019 6:11 pmWhy is it asking me to enter the odds when the odds are variable?

Surely there is a simple way to set up a stop loss?jimibt wrote: ↑Thu Oct 31, 2019 6:13 pmLuke - it's one thing to be a bit naive as to how the markets work regarding trading. it's quite another to not be able to clearly understand the user manual and how to use the software. what page are you on so far??JustLukeYou wrote: ↑Thu Oct 31, 2019 6:11 pmWhy is it asking me to enter the odds when the odds are variable?

In the guide from Dallas it suggests that the Rule is not suited to markets which are volatile and the Rule he has is designed for horse racing. If that is the case I think I will need a rule that does cover markets that are volatile so I will need to automatically place the Lay Bet which will go unmatched unless the value of my stake falls by 20%.

Right click on the ladder.
But why do you want a hard stop loss? I thought you were a manual trader.
If you think you can read a situation better than the market, then why have the market choose when you stop out?

Does BetAngel have support I can contact? I'm sure they can help me out in a few minutes. What I am looking for sounds like a commonly used method to prevent heavy losses.ShaunWhite wrote: ↑Thu Oct 31, 2019 6:33 pmRight click on the ladder.

When I am in BetAngel Guardian there doesn't appear to be away to trade out. Is it possible to trade out in Guardian?

That is not what I mean, can I manually trade out. When I am in BetAngel Pro I can't see where I can manually trade out.ShaunWhite wrote: ↑Thu Oct 31, 2019 7:14 pmRTFM.JustLukeYou wrote: ↑Thu Oct 31, 2019 6:50 pmWhen I am in BetAngel Guardian there doesn't appear to be away to trade out. I have set up a rule but it is doing the opposite what I want. It is Greening Over 5.5 goals instead of over but I have to manually trade out on the BetFair website.
