It's not going to be long before one is seriously injured when a unhappy fan/s get hold of them
Just like that idiot who thought it was a go idea to disrupt a tube train in rush hour, didn't end very well as he was dragged off the roof by his ankles and dropped on the platform surrounded by a angry bunch of commuters
Yes, but I would suggest these protesters get a life. We all know about the issues around fossil fuel. We have an avenue to influence decisions. It's called democracy. Get elected and you can make a difference. Just being disruptive and grumpy is pretty feeble.Emmson wrote: ↑Wed Jul 05, 2023 2:44 pmI would rather this than live in a Police State personally. Woman's suffragette movement here in Blighty is part of our proud history and they believed in and practised direct action.greenmark wrote: ↑Wed Jul 05, 2023 3:10 pmYes, but I would suggest these protesters get a life. They need to be smarter about where they strike though, I totally agree with that.
Ok, very good point. But there are limits. Can you conflate suffrage (which is very particular to women, but very important to society) with fossil fuel creating an increasingly hostile global environment?Emmson wrote: ↑Wed Jul 05, 2023 3:25 pmWoman's suffragette movement here in Blighty is part of our proud history and they believed in and practised direct action.greenmark wrote: ↑Wed Jul 05, 2023 3:10 pmYes, but I would suggest these protesters get a life.
