Correct, having visited 3 regions in India, the food you get in the UK is certainly not Indian cuisine by any stretch of the imagination.firlandsfarm wrote: ↑Tue Jul 23, 2024 9:33 amThe owner of my local 'Indian' restaurant once told me most 'Indian' restaurants are actually owned and staffed by Bangladeshi's!greenmark wrote: ↑Mon Jul 22, 2024 3:19 pmMight be wrong but most staff in Indian restaurants aren't Indians.ForFolksSake wrote: ↑Mon Jul 22, 2024 3:10 pm
Reeves would have to furlough all the Indian restaurants in the UK otherwise they would all go out of business![]()

It is our moral imperative to not only recognize but also actively dismantle the structures of inequality that have been passed down. i'd recommend that you read up on the role played by the East India company in the 1600-1800's. They themselves were ABOLISHED in the late 1800's (280 years after their creation). You can only abolish something if you were actively involved!!.Crazyskier wrote: ↑Tue Jul 23, 2024 12:14 pmSteady on old chum.jimibt wrote: ↑Tue Jul 23, 2024 9:36 amAbsolutely, inaction in the face of inherited inequality is akin to complicity in the original acts. Don't forget that we were the first to abolish slavery, with Wilberforce in 1807. The rest of the world followed our lead.
You are in danger of sounding like you support that warped ideology around ''white privilege''.

I don't know where you get your facts from but here are some moreArchery1969 wrote: ↑Mon Jul 22, 2024 9:08 pmMy god, where is this thread going. However, some statistics.
As per 2021 Census for Bradford:
61% White British
As per 2021 Census for Leeds:
89% White British
As per 2021 Census for London:
53% White British
So, based on the above official facts, I wouldn’t say Bradford or Leeds or even London had a non existent White British representation.
Let’s keep the thread clean people.

WTF - Lookup up the 2021 UK census data. I didn’t make those figures up for those 3 places. Ofcourse the data could be wrong or people lied on the forms. But that would be stupid as it carries a large fine and/or prison sentence.ForFolksSake wrote: ↑Tue Jul 23, 2024 1:46 pmI don't know where you get your facts from but here are some moreArchery1969 wrote: ↑Mon Jul 22, 2024 9:08 pmMy god, where is this thread going. But I am confident the UK is not being overrun by non white people.
This thread seems to be getting rather stupid and with some comments downright racist.
From my experience, don’t worry about someone’s skin colour or where they were born, worry more about if they’re an idiot or not. I would suggest there are a few of the later on this forum.
