I put a condition in that the number of matched bets in market is 1 and it does not do any bet now as a result?

Without the condition it works and multiple bets are struck.

If you put a condition that you must have one matched bet then it will only trigger if you have 1 matched bet live in that market. If you have 0 matched bets, or more than 1 matched bets, then that ruleline won't trigger.

If you are in-play then there will be a Betfair delay between your bet being placed and it appearing in the market.

You're probably better off using this condition instead.
