In 3 years of being on this forum, I've never known anybody try to stitch others up, or deliberately give bad advice.

Peter is right, some threads have been discussed many times before. I stopped PM's due to the avalanche of requests for help. I haven't got the time, and quite frankly it took many years of hard work to be where I am now, so with BF reducing everybody's edge wherever possible, I'm being a bit more cagey with specific advice.

BA is an excellent trading tool. However, annual subscription doesn't include free advice on strategies. If there's no reply to your technical requests, contact support, they are very helpful.

If this forum is going to descend into playground arguments, especially with regards to one particular user, then I'm happy to not bother posting at all in the future, I'm far too busy for that bollox

If pointless, petty arguments is your bag, then get married......you'll love it!

Ive made my point and some people obviously agree, love the marriage example, although your reference to me above and your language and tone would suggest your just as culpable on causing a thread to descend into playground arguments as others..

stones and glass houses.

ill be playing on the football markets, using a strat involving cs and overs/unders together.

happy trading (gambling) tonight...

I think we need a conspiracy theories forum to be honest

a place that none inner circle members can openly disscuss the inner circle and speculate on how they control and manipulate Betfair's markets,
thus causeing most of the worlds currant problems.

Ive heard the illuminati and the n.w.o have nothing on the Betangel inner circle, frightening really, who would have thunk it .

I don't know how many threads there are in the forum; but this has to be the labelled the worst and the least helpful...I dont even know what is being debated...LeTiss sums it up in his first line..

quite agree, letiss's first line sums up quite a few people responses to replies theyve got on here, mine included.
opinions on threads are just that an opinion ,of which their are many.
this thread would seem to have got more posts today than most threads, which would tend to suggest that your assertion isnt agreed with by many.
considering this is a thread thanking those that pm me for expressing agreement with my view that many senior forumites on here are quite unhelpful, your contribution which adds nothing and suggest that you cant even have read the thread, is quite a case in point..

but thanks anyway..

happy gambling

Come on MM, you have made your point and it's obvious you are just trying to inflame things now. Time to call it a day. You are deliberately creating the very conditions you so confidently assert you are are seeking to avoid. If you want to engage in sensible conversation, then I am sure others will reciprocate, please feel free to do so. But that's enough of this sort of stuff now.

i started a benign thread, to thank people for their support, some of whom wont put their heads above the parapet and say what they think openly, because and i quote one "the pack of wolves will descend on me".
Its a thank you and an acknowledgement to them.
If someone is so low minded, and mean spirited to call that the worst thread on here, and to suggest its unhelpful when its got people talking about the unhelpful nature of senior posters on here, it is indictaive of the way certain people dont like anyone saying anything they dont agree with.

thats why, its trashing someone saying thanks, which in my book is low.

+1 let's keep it clean.

this is a good forum with lot's of reasoned debate and respected contributors.

in my early days of sports trading i switched from R@cing Traders to Bet Angel because i didn't like the attitude of the RT people+forum (i had the nerve to question whether going to a web-based product was the right way forward and was met with a stream of abuse and paranoia).

Agreed.
Good, I'm going to draw a line under this.

There are lots of helpful posters on here, some have been around for a long time, some excellent threads (which have been buried) are on here also. I realise that because we have some very long term posters on here, some newbies may feel outside of that, but its not intentional.

The forum is here for everybody, new and old to share opinions, lets keep it that way and keep it moving forward.

As a relative newbie this is the only forum I contribute too, but not the only one I read...For myself it is informative, and in my opinion very good...
But I am intrigued by the inner sanctum.... :?

Dont' worry there is no inner sanctum

It's just that some people think that because they can not do something, there must be some great big secret that they are missing out on and that the others in the know are keeping from them.

when in reality in most cases, it just hard work and persistance that pays off.
