I'd forgotten that line.
A lot wrapped up in that lyric eh?

Statistics show 16- to 24-year-olds out of work at highest level since pandemic, a rise of almost 50% in two years

https://www.statista.com/statistics/974 ... uk-by-age/

The Tories should never ever be allowed to run this country again
It was announced today that 2.8 million are working age but not working, paying tax, in education or claiming benefits.

Apart from that number being shockingly high, obvious question is what are they doing to support themselves financially.

I guess they could be a mixture of BF traders, drug dealers, prostitutes, poker players or one the lottery.

If I were the government then I would get HMRC to contact all of them to ascertain their circumstances etc.

I would imagine they are on cash deals. 33% of the working population isn't feasible. They must be doing something being paid by someone. Benefits only last 6 months, after that you are screwed unless you have absolutely nothing. Don't beleive the Daily Mail.
Labour have a gigantic task ahead of them. I already know they won't win the next GE. The blame for the last decade or so will fall on them.

It wasn’t in the daily mail. The BBC and Sky reported it at lunchtime.

Apologies it was a general comment about the editorial slant of the Daily Mail. I shall try to be more considered with my flippant comments. You were right to highlight my infantile bias. I'll get the hang of being an adult one day. :-)

I would guess an argument with a grizzly or racoon has greater ...er .... relevance in the grand scheme. Having a political bias in the face of those critters is as much use as a hair in a biscuit.

Yeah. 😂

I can deal with Grizzly but the raccoons are driving me nuts. As much as I love them and it’s their space, if another one gets in my cabin and nicks any more food then I going to get my spud gun out!!!

flipping hell, a man released from prison commits (allegedly) a sexual offence on release day. You'd think they'd be glad to get out and at least go down the pub and have a pint before going back to crime!

I don't blame Starmer though, some idiot made a decision that he was suitable for release.

Someone I shared a house with lived in Canada for a year or so, he said raccoons were scary in the way that rats are. Intrepid, quiet and pretty fearless. And there are lots of 'em.

I gave up counting them. But there is one, I know looking after his family. The most scary, naughty bloody git on earth. Windows and doors closed. So how the hell he is getting in is beyond me. But, what a cunning dude for looking after his own etc.

He could help out the world food crisis, on his own.
