Came close to a heart-attack at Eagle Farm, but eventually closed for a profit.

No better remedy that a decent trading session. Glad to hear you are feeling ok.

I lost power here last night so had to bot the markets, but they seemed to think it was ok.

This just happened at Hobart 30 secs before the jump, plenty of money in the market too - and it won

Disappointed there's no Randwick or Rosehill tonight, but group 1 and 2 action at Caulfield.

I'm very happy group 1 racing is back and we are slowly working our way out of the summer doldrums.

Pretty new to Australian racing, what are the best courses / days to trade?

Fri/Sat.

I'd advise acoiding Pace/Harness/Trot markets as the price moves closer to the start are based on the position of the horse (similar to In-Play). These races will be at the same courses and usually scheduled at 'odd' times e.g. 02:37 or 04:54 rather than on the 5/10 minute mark.

I'm not sure I follow, sorry. Harness prices move late because there's little liquidity. The starting position is determined prior to the race. The only reason for spikes is if a horse gallops scoring up behind the mobile.

I would suggest that Wednesday afternoon racing is superior to Friday, unless Moonee Valley and Canterbury are running on a Friday night.
