Has anyone noticed jars of coffee have been reduced to 95 grams, from 100?
Wankers!! I remember as a kid noticing my chocolate mice with missing tails, but when they're a penny or halfpenny each and sold individually, that's understandable. Sneakily reducing the quantity yet keeping it in the same size jar amounts to deception!

I did wonder how Poundshops are going to deal with inflation! I buy packs of chocolate and I have a feeling they have been shrinking them too.Derek27 wrote: ↑Sat Oct 22, 2022 6:50 pmHas anyone noticed jars of coffee have been reduced to 95 grams, from 100?

Pound shops have been doing that for years. But I never imagined that jars of coffee would go the same way. It's not just one brand of coffee, Kenco, Nescafe and some other!Emmson wrote: ↑Sat Oct 22, 2022 6:54 pmI did wonder how Poundshops are going to deal with inflation! I'm quite happy to pay £1.75 for a 6-pack of crisps but I'd never buy a 5-pack, whatever the price. I've been buying 6-packs for decades, a 5-pack would just make me feel I've got something missing.

Do we still import 2/3rds of our cheese? It would be a disgrace if we do.
Looks like it. I've searched everywhere for Gloucestershire Gruyere and Berkshire Burrata but can't find any!ShaunWhite wrote: ↑Tue Oct 25, 2022 7:08 pmDo we still import 2/3rds of our cheese? It would be a disgrace if we do.
100% of our coconuts are imported. That is a disgrace!ShaunWhite wrote: ↑Tue Oct 25, 2022 7:08 pmDo we still import 2/3rds of our cheese? It would be a disgrace if we do.

Sorry, it's half time.
