By Nazi Germany? After both the Nazi's and Stalin carved up Poland between them and then Hitler though it would be a jolly good idea to invade Russia and renege on an agreement. Yes. The far-right are just lovely. Please, please, please look at history.

As you've said - war is brutal. But Russia has now greenlighted Ukraine diong the same. Escalation? Looks sadly like it.

Ukraine doesn’t have any of those. No flesh or bones, just a red mist. I’m not even sure there legal under the Geneva Convention. But then it’s war and Putin, so he/they won’t care on what’s legal.

However, I imagine NATO and the USA may see that as a redline and a green light to give Ukraine some very nasty stuff. Not that any of it is nice so to speak.

4 countries in the world have vacuum bombs, UK is one of them.

Sir Keir, please send what you have to Ukraine for them to use again Russian forces. If you do then I will add you to my Christmas card list.

They seem to be very effective in certain scenarios. But didn't help the coalition or Russia in Afghanistan. So probably more a psychological weapon (if blowing people up in one way is more scary than any other).
I know I'm like a broken record but if we diverted all the cleverness to find more efficient ways to kill each other into positive areas I wonder what we could achieve. Ah well. We'll never know.

Effective within 500 metres square. But in Afghanistan with mountainous terrain, not so much. Also, they not exactly cheap at $4.5 million each. In Russia and Ukraine they would be highly effective on flat terrain.

There not banned under international law as long as they used against military opposition. You can’t use them against civilians. But as we all know, that can often be a grey area.

There're most effective in buildings, tunnels, trenches where the gas can spread out and fill the cavity before ignition. But unfortunately, as long as people like Putin are around, we need to invest our cleverness in finding effective ways to blow those idiots up.

Breaking news….

- Ukraine now occupies over 1,000 km square of Russian territory.
- USA 'deeply concerned' by reports Iran set to deliver hundreds of ballistic missiles to Russia.

I am thinking that the USA will prevent their delivery by force!!!

New Zealand is an awesome place but not as cheap to live as it was once.

I would have suggested the moon but it seems china has plans on establishing a remote colony there.

I will take a gamble and stay where I am, in the wilderness, surrounded by fury things, 100km from the nearest military, airforce and navel base.

But the closer you are to Europe has benefits, you won’t feel a thing.

That's why I cant understand why all these immigrants risk coming across the channel in a dinghy to come here - surely life cant be that bad from wherever they come from to want to end up getting nuked in the UK.

We should all be manning the boats that arrive here back the other way - seems a shame to waste them
They won't cost anything - just need filling up with petrol :)
