Does anyone get imposter syndrome when trading? I’ve started trading price decay and I’m doing really well but feel like a fraud. It doesn’t feel like proper trading
Part of the definition of fraud is placing bets without any risk. There's still a risk when trading price decay, it's not just a one-way trade.

Because technically you're market-making and not trading in the full sense of that word? I feel a bit different when market-making sometimes but why wouldn't you expect the market to compensate you for your MM services etc.

So no real reason to feel like that I think, "trading" is basically just an umbrella term for a myriad of different approaches, as long as you're managing your positions and emotions well you can consider yourself a (profitable) trader.

Even if you're only scalping around the price, no reason not to enjoy it. Because many try to scalp the markets but the markets only end up scalping them, one hair follicle at a time you could say

Haha, are you saying you didn't notice that pattern amongst all the successful traders out there? That pattern baldness pattern?!

Sadly it awaits all of us! Only Minnie should be safe.

So I'd watch out for any successful system sellers out there with a great head of hair!

I can understand why women open bottles of perfume in the shop and sniff it before paying £10 for them. But a bloke, opening and sniffing a bottle of fabric conditioner!!

I thought I bought all the ingredients for my Pancetta, tomato & onion spaghetti, but I now realise I missed the onion in the list, even though it's in the title of the recipe.

Prince Harry should have just been given an hour to say what he wants about his family and then have the plug pulled. The amount of coverage Sky are giving him, the way things are going he'll soon have a weekly programme just for slagging off his relatives!

He now reveals Prince William pushed him to the floor during a row. Who could blame him? He deserved to be punched to the floor!

So, William pushed Harry, he fell on the floor, landed on a dog bowl, which was made of glass, the bowl broke and cut into him.

Sounds like the sort of thing you put on an insurance claim.

This isnt the middle ages, or the land of Shrek. We dont need Kings, Queens or royals anymore. They are now just celebrities at best.

I can imagine his agent.

So Harry what about this fight you had with William.

Well it wasn't so much a fight, but he did push me.

He pushed you?

Yeah and I fell over

You fell over?

Yeah, then I landed on something.

You realise if we publish this you are going to look a right dick. Haven't you got something better?

No.

Well let's just say he attacked you, that sounds a bit better.

Harry claims that Charles, Diane, The Queen and her husband all referred to the boys as "the heir and the spare". Have to take what he says with a pinch of salt, but if true, they really are stuck in the middle ages.

Even if it's not true he's bound to feel that way and it's no wonder he needed to take cocaine to get by. What a credit our cocaine-snorting royal family are to the nation.

I guess there are no revolutions anymore to solve the problems of royalty, so we have to watch it all fall apart slowly and agonisingly through the media

FWIW my view is that Harry has always had a chip on his shoulder when it played out that he’d never be King, he met Meagain & she’s swayed him away from The Firm, she’s playing him like the proverbial fiddle
