Saturday morning Randwick was trading like Kensington, and now Kensington's trading like Randwick!

Is that good or bad? An increase or decrease in liquidity?

I was referring more to activity and fill rates with people happy to back and lay at best prices. Didn't make a note of turnover but have a feeling it was good for Kensington (Randwick's inner track).

Thanks, I keep meaning to get up and give the Aus stuff a go as my bots turn over decent profits on it. But I don't know what the tracks are like so no idea if Randwick is comparable to Ascot or Ffos Las and wouldn't know if it's good Randwick was trading like Kensington or if things are going backwards with Aus trading.

I think it might have been you that mentioned around the Melbourne Cup carnival when your bots had a field day that Flemington trades like UK markets used to - less volatile, more predictable and easy scalping. That's how Randwick and Rosehill trade in the peak season and there's decent liquidity, but it won't start to pick up until late August/early September.

Kensington (the inner track at Randwick) hosts lower grade racing so I was a bit surprised to find it's trading more like its upper-class sibling but I'm sure it's just a one-off rather than a trend.

Fiddling with Rosehill half-an-hour out. Bit more activity than usual this early.

Kembla Grange was dead until the last few minutes. Seemed odd how dead it was, anyone know why it was so quiet?

Its an absolutely magnificent day in Sydney, 17c and not a cloud in the sky - maybe everyone is enjoying the sunshine?

Now some delay at Kembla in any case.
