And to think Waller put the wrong saddlecloths on his two runners the other day

Got a call today regarding the Turnover Charge and now I am unable to trade on NSW/ACT racing altogether. I cannot argue with the guy as the amount it is costing Betfair due to the High Court decision is very high. The guy also said that quite a few people have been contacted so it would be interesting to see if any one on here has been "issued with a warning".
Even though I can still make a nice wage, it looks as though I may have to make a few decisions soon. Mondays and Tuesdays are almost rendered worthless now with only 1 Victorian meeting on each day. Maybe I could protest outside RNSW HQ with a banner early in the week
The rest of the week isn't too bad but when Wed/Fri night racing disappears in April, things are obviously going to get a lot quieter.
I am currently doing well in the UK when I have the time and the plan was always to go back there but it looks as though it will be coming sooner rather than later!
Trying to master the markets is hard enough but then you have to deal with decisions inside the business as well. Ah gimme a break

I was hit with a warning not long after the charge came in.
My trading went bush when Victoria introduced the charge for 12 months.
The racing has always been quieter during the winter months. Most of your night racing is outside of NSW anyway.
