Although annoying, surely it just has to be taken on the chin ? If they paid back based on bets that hadn't happened, then would that not mean they also would have to take back winning bets from someone on the opposite side who may have been having a genuine gamble and not a trade?

I read the issue. I just think that if you ever put money in the market you have to be prepared for full system melt down. I think what is more concerning from reading caan blog there seems to be mystery bets people are not aware going into the markets. Maybe human error but it certainly seems the new api is not an improvement so far.
