£16m a year is absolute peanuts for a pro.

I know of him, but never met him and never seen him at any events. Though I know he did a joint course with Tony Hargraves, so that pulled his reputation down a notch.

turnover must be in settled markets rather than individual bets i assume?

He's talking turnover - the total of bets placed, not profit.

£16m a year in turnover would put you nowhere near the top three. It's just bullshit.

Knocked out 2nd round. Scored a miserable 2 in the 30s general knowledge section. Poor choice of dropzones too imo.
2/10

Been good quizzing today.
Limber up on Tipping Point.
Gentle jog on The Chase.
Get the grey cells fully up to temp with the Only Connect final.
Proper workout with the University Challenge 1/4 final.

The presenter, Vicky Coren, plays poker. She's one of the rare double winners of the EPT pokerstars tour.

2006 London
2014 San Remo

She's mainly a cash game player overall.

That's the fella. :)

According the the LinkedIn page....

Using my IT skills I have produced automated solutions that process large volumes of live data which identify certain information that I then use to make informed trading decisions.
Using automated XML and API feeds I examine pre-event data to identify market inefficiencies for trading opportunities. Use my data to identify statistically incorrect pre-event and in-play markets based on probability, time and currently known information.

What we do doesn't half sound fancy when it's worded nicely :)
More info.

A few months ago i spent a little time trying to see if I could spot his bots at work on their martingales in the Greyhound markets - looking to pounce when they'd had a long losing run - but i couldn't spot anything - possibly because the users never really managed to scale up enough to matter.
