The only reason I've not used one of these before and manually set things to TakeSP with a shortcut key just before the off is the issues surrounding horses being withdrawn, market suspending and the SP bet being taken. In this instance it can cause it's own problems as I've found out in the past too

Y, you would still need to keep an eye out for that type of situation and do a reverse sort of thing if using a servant in this way

Thanks I escalated the issue and I was 15 seconds late from setting the bets to TakeSP just as the last of the horses were entering the stalls before the market should have gone inplay. This will have been the delay in TV pics to the live event jumping so the bets were voided.

Try not to be too gutted.
Some go against you, some go for you, it's just the way it is and everyone has plus-sized wins or losses sometimes.
You'll get it back eventually.

edit: I just had a look at the distribution of my returns this year which shows what I mean. Outliers due to outages, glitches and assorted cockups. Hopefully you'll get your loss back sooner rather than later.

What amazes me is the 'oh we're so sorry' but it keeps happening.
If BF were to say they are regularly attacked, then that would be reasonable.
But they seem to screw up all on their own.
