This depends on your strategy... Smaller the fields the better for a swing trader, however it can be very volatile. It is all about preference, I find it much easier to read small fields for trading.

For racing small fields are not good.

15K matched at 1.01 on Hasslehoff - horse fell at the last when commentator stated the round had been 'no hassle'!! :lol:

The average number of runners is around 9-10 so that's the ''average' market. I tend to dislike small fields personally, but they can produce opportunties.
