I didn't notice it on the web page but a notification appeared on my phone (briefly)- agree it was not in your face... And yes it was this thread that pointed the way... Hopefully the prizes will be shared out in the main by forum members )

Remember the BD challenge and 10% of people profited on the first 6 races, much fewer here more like 3%

None successfully got to the end of the second day with all green so be interesting to see how many can do it

Surely be one or two if just using little stakes once or twice

Well I'm in that 14, I'd imagine a few others are also. So we are better than 97% of the all the other participants. We are the 3%!

I've automated it so it doesn't detract from my trading.
Is that on your Primary account? Only primary accounts are included in the competition.

Guess it depends how they define the primary account. I trade on more than one account all the time.

I'll take pleasure from knowing where I sit on the leaderboard whether I am or not classified as a winner. Betfair banned me from promotion emails and competitions some time ago. So even if I did win, I may not anyhow. Let's see.

Massively less than I expected
That really is a shock. Wish I got up earlier now and given myself a chance.

I'd guess the primary account is the one they swipe the PC from.

I don't think it's a shock. If trading is a 50/50 process then 7 in a row is <1%

That's true, but trading is more than a 50/50 process, especially if people are focused on securing a profit for the purpose of the competition rather than making profit.

Not sure why you assume it's easier for people to make a profit for a competition than day to day trading, Derek? I'd have thought most people were focussed on securing a profit when trading at all times.

In a way, this has been an eye opener, thou, the depth of mkts may alter the true ease of turning relatively small profits.
